## What is Nexting?

Nexting is wearable AI hardware, available as the PIN and Ring, that lets you talk to your own AI agents anywhere. Tap, speak your task, and move on. Audio streams over Bluetooth to your iPhone, gets transcribed, and is dispatched to your agent. The key insight: you don't need a real-time conversation with your AI — you need to dispatch tasks and review results.

It runs the agents you already use — Claude Code, OpenClaw, Codex — instead of locking you into one proprietary assistant. We don't reinvent the agent; we put the agents you already trust on your body.

Zero setup — we run a hosted agent for you (Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini), always on, no configuration required.

## Architecture

User (one tap + voice) → Nexting → BLE → iPhone App → WebSocket → Server → AI Agent → Results → Phone notification

## Open Source

Nexting's core is open: hardware schematics and the OpenClaw protocol and plugin SDK are public and hackable. The firmware, iOS app, and cloud infrastructure are proprietary but well-documented. We describe this as core / partial open source — not "fully open source."

Eric Shang — Founder & CEO of Nexting Inc. Former embedded software engineer at DJI (autonomous driving, AUTOSAR). Based in Guangdong, China. Founded Nexting — a wearable terminal for dispatching tasks to your own AI agents — because he realized: "I just want results. I don't need real-time interaction.
