How do I pair my Pinclaw clip?+

Turn on your Pinclaw clip and open the app. Go to Settings > Device and tap "Scan for Device". Your clip should appear within a few seconds. Tap to connect.

Which AI models does Pinclaw use?+

Pinclaw supports multiple frontier AI models. The specific model can be configured in your account settings or through the OpenClaw gateway if you're using the self-hosted option.

Does Pinclaw work without the hardware clip?+

Yes! You can use the Chat tab in the app to interact with the AI assistant using your phone's microphone, even without the hardware clip connected.

What is "My OpenClaw" mode?+

My OpenClaw mode lets you run the AI backend on your own computer. The Pinclaw app connects to your personal OpenClaw gateway through our relay service. This gives you full control over your AI setup.

How do I update my Pinclaw clip's firmware?+

Firmware updates are delivered through the app. When an update is available, you'll see a notification in the Settings tab. Follow the on-screen instructions to update.

Is my voice data stored?+

Voice audio is processed in real-time for speech recognition and is not permanently stored. Only the transcribed text is sent to AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?+

Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data from our servers.
